Natural choices for all stages in life.

Hi my name is Mindy and I got interested in natural childbirth when I went to massage school at Myotherapy School of Massage in Utah in 1997. There I learned you did not have to have an epidural to have a baby. I was shocked, I had always  been told how horrible birth was and you had to have pain relief. I learned that  much of what I was learning in massage school also can apply to giving birth.  Deep relaxation, gentle movements, massage, pressure point work, deep abdominal  breathing, and ...

Deep relaxation, gentle movements, massage, pressure point work, deep abdominal  breathing, and listening to our bodies. I learned birth can be a beautiful and wonderful experience.

I decided to take a Bradley Method class to prepare for our first baby and loved my class and birth so much I decided to become a teacher a few years later.  I took my first childbirth teacher training in The Bradley Method ® in April 2004. I am have now continued my education with Informed Beginnings and am very excited to pass on the things I have learned and the amazing wealth of information about childbirth and breastfeeding. I am always inspired and awed to  play a small part in this amazing process.

April 2013 I became a prenatal massage specialist at Salt Lake Prenatal Massage where I was able to work with hundreds of prenatal and postpartum clients before becoming the prenatal massage specialist at inSPArations day spa in Layton.  I have also expanded my prenatal massage and childbirth education training to include doula training that gives me added comfort techniques for labor, emotional support to help the mother and partner deal with unexpected situations in labor, and mother advocacy to help them create their optimal birth experience.

Great experience so far and plan on going back each week for a few weeks to start feeling better, and then make sure I do maintenance as needed monthly. I have had a tingle and numbness in my legs for the last year. After one session it already started feeling better, and the second session helped even more! Thanks Mindy!

I am still in my first trimester but I’m so glad I took the time to relax and listen to my body! Mindy was very professional and kind. I am definitely going to come back throughout my pregnancy.

A great service for a great price! This was only my second massage but I felt comfortable and heard. I would recommend a prenatal massage here to anyone looking!

She was very knowledgable about prenatal massages and wish I could have discovered here earlier in my pregnancy. Message Envy is a joke if your pregnant. Don’t go there! This is way better and she caters to pregnant clients and she has a lot of pillows to accommodate.
