Massage has always been a very natural part of my life. My sister and I are 19 months apart and shared a bed growing up. She loved to have her back rubbed and I quickly found that it put her to sleep, making holding her hand while she fell asleep unnecessary. I have never been a good sleeper, so finding an alternative for holding her hand until she fell asleep a small miracle. For years we would charge family members and friends $1/body part, and they gladly paid us for 10 minutes of massage on the area they requested. We would practice different techniques that we had come up with and trying them on each other, naming the ones that we agreed were really good. We went to massage school together in 2003.We have both been practicing now for 12 years. I love my job and have studied different modalities and techniques that enhance each massage that I give.
