Prima culminated in the Massage Profession to assist Clients with back-scrubbing who required assistance due to limited range of motion, and for a common condition otherwise known as 'bacne'. A licensed Cosmetologist /Instructor (20+ years in Michigan), a desire grew to know the underlying world beneath our skin, too. Massage Therapy training afforded its graduates the inner workings of the human body and how to properly effectuate change in the vast tissues, muscles, and joints.

At Irene's School of Myomassology (Southfield, MI) the students are taught at in depth study and rigorous practical applications on how to improve tissue, muscles, and musculoskeletal disorders. Various conditions that many of us suffer daily. For instance, Fibromyalgia, Endometriosis, sports muscle sprains/strains, connective and scar tissue, lymphatic drainage, and more. 

Fast forward, four years later, our professional practice uses a wide range of modalities from relaxing Swedish Massage to more complex stretching and manual traction, and all the amenities and small touches.

We have an amazing practice located in Grosse Pointe Woods, MI,  Flexible hours to accommodate most schedules. Bookings are by appointment, made by phone preferred however, online is an option too.
