I am the proud Mama of 5 wonderful children. I come from a line of physicians and grew up knowing that I wanted to help people. While I always thought I would be a nurse,life told me that I would be a mother,which was the ultimate start in my lifetime of caring for others. While most of my life has centered around my family,I also worked as a certified nursing assistant for over 10 years,allowing me to help others feel better and be at home to love,teach,and care for my babies. When they were old enough,I started exploring my own personal development. After some soul searching,I seriously looked into an area that I had periodically considered and researched...massage therapy. After seriously looking,and talking to people,and attending an information session,I knew that massage was,without a doubt,the way that I was meant to serve. I'm honored to have been given the gift of healing through touch and am grateful for that always.I enrolled with the very first class at the Kneaded Energy School of Massage in 2009. After graduating in 2010, I was selected to work in the professional practice. Today, over 5 years and 3,000 hours of hands-on massage experience later,I have also completed the teaching program and taught hands-on classes in the school, supervised student clinic,and served as Managing Massage Therapist for Kneaded Energy for over 2 years,as well as worked administratively at the front desk. Now that my children are starting their own families,going to college,and old enough to have their own active social lives,I am able to re-prioritize and focus on my family and career in different ways. Having my own private practice will allow me to spend more time with my family and be able to focus on my clients' needs in a convenient,flexible,focused,non-rushed environment. For me, it's the best of both worlds! I offer massage for relaxation,stress relief,pain management,deep tissue,prenatal & infant,children,athletic/sports massage,etc. Hot stone massage,reflexology,aromatherapy, on-site corporate chair massage, spa/pamper parties for big and little girls,and couples massage are also among offered services. I especially enjoy working with low back and hip issues and clients with body image issues. My belief is that if you give the body time and talk to it nicely,you'll be amazed at what it will do for you.
