Graeme Clark

Massage Therapist and Business Owner at Massage on F Street

My personal style is a mix of Swedish and deep tissue adapted to client needs. I like to find that "just right" depth of pressure to release tension, provide relief from pain and create a deep sense of relaxation. In addition to relaxation massage, I provide therapeutic massage for specific conditions and injuries, whether acute or chronic. Helping you feel good and achieve your wellness goals is my mission.

I completed the massage program at Rogue Community College in 2015, while also teaching as a dance instructor at the college (which is how I became aware of the program). I have been involved in social dancing since attending the University of Oregon, and following my passion for dance, I began teaching after college. My focus had always been on developing sensitivity and connection in teaching (and learning) dance, and I believe that this has helped me as a therapist both in feeling out problem areas as well as communicating and reacting to a client’s needs.

I believe in best practice in massage and that the techniques we use as therapists should have a firm grounding in science. In practice, however, massage is as much of an art as it is a science in which as practitioners must employ their senses and sensibility while working with clients.

In addition to the basic training required for massage licensure, I have taken additional classes for specific areas of interest including trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, and sports massage.
