'Dancing flowers' is not only a vision of relaxation and tranquility but also a mind state and an artistic explanation of my approach to massage. The flower is not only strong, and intuitive it symbolizes vitality, health, growth, happiness, and love. My name is Leslie Hopp, I grew up in the beautiful Rocky Mountains in Silverthorne Co. Moved over to Grand Junction for a Bachelots of Fine Arts at Mesa State College (now called Colorado Mesa University). I've lived between Silverthorne and Grand Junction since graduation enjoying the beautiful benefits of both places! I hike, camp, am learning to river kayak, and pretty much just love being outside. I have been interested in aromatherapy and massage since I was 15 or so studying both subjects on my own pretty continuously over the years. Got tired of playing the retail and office assistant game for work so I finally attended Essentials Therapeutic Massage School (located here in Grand Junction) and graduated April 2016. I started as soon as I got my license at a gorgeous spa in Breckinridge Co slope side peak 9 performing deep tissue, Swedish, sports, and prenatal massage, plus spa treatments like luxurious sugars scrubs. I moved closer to home to a spa in Silverthorne continuing my massage practice. My boyfriend and I have now relocated to Grand Junction just this May of 2017, and we are here to stay. I decided to blend all of my work experiences and open my massage studio above the beautiful Salon Capelli to offer Grand Junction not only a great massage, but luxurious spa treatments like my house made sugar scrub with custom blended aromatherapy, plus if you love the blend I can mix you up your own bottle to take home. My continued education goals and current workings are Aromatherapy Masters Certification, medical massage, and I plan to take continued study courses of prenatal massage. One of my goals for my massage practice is to eventually offer prenatal massage up until and during labor. Massage during labor helps take Momma's mind off of the pain, helps promote less stress, and easier delivery, plus aromatherapy and herbal baths.
