Laurie is a 2016 graduate of the Giving Touch Massage School in Grand Junction, Colorado. She believes our bodies contain the innate capability to heal, and strives to create the ideal environment for your body and mind to unwind and feel safe. She possesses a mindful, thorough, and highly intuitive approach to her work, and carefully listens to the signals the body offers in order to effectively communicate with it. Laurie's philosophy is that total health is achieved through wellness in mind+body+spirit. Using a combination of fluid motion, nurturing touch and symmetry, she creates a relaxed state in the body and mind while tending to each client's individual needs. She utilizes a mixture of relaxing Swedish strokes, gentle deep tissue work, myofascial techniques and trigger point therapy to release muscle tension.  Through compassionate and careful listening she addresses physical and energetic issues, gently ushering your body toward its own natural healing abilities and opening up the potential for deep emotional and physical releases. She believes massage therapy can be a harmonious dance with the body and spirit, and encourages 90 minute sessions to allow more time and space to explore these concepts and techniques.
