I am Shannon Jimison, owner of Restore Bodywork & Massage. I enrolled in Massage school in March 2010 and began learning the intriguing art and science of massage. I had been in several car collisions and childhood injuries, including a head trauma. During recovery from the last car collision, I experienced the relief that bodywork, massage and cranial sacral work brought my body. That treatment reignited in me the desire to go to massage school and bring healing and relief to others. I have added several additional modalities to my toolbelt in an effort to be more effective in treating each client that comes through my treatment room door; Active Isolated Stretching, Cupping, Cranial Sacral, Somato Emotional Release, and Kinesio Taping. 

I have a loving, supportive (and may I say handsome) husband and two adult sons that mean the world to me. I love to get my hands dirty in the garden, creating beautiful flower pots and growing some of my own herbs and vegetables. You will often find me reading, drinking a cup of coffee and snuggling one of my sweet kitties. I also enjoy volunteering in my community in various ways.

Shannon has worked on me for several years now. Always come away physically better and with a more relaxed mindset that lasts for days after. She knows exactly what to do when given the4 right input from me. Deep tissue is effectively tendered when its needed. She just knows her trade very well.

I look forward to seeing Shannon because I know I will end up getting some sort of relief. She is very innovative and because she knows the body so well, she's able to work on one area the whole time if necessary. I appreciate her energy and she she works with our body and doesn't force it.
