Lori Lynn Spencer is a Board Certified, Licensed Massage Therapist in the state of Colorado and Arizona. Also, she has been practicing massage therapy since 2002, and became Board Certified in 2012.  Lori Lynn has developed a program, a technique, that works within the body's natural design to heal.; Lori's strength lies in assisting people to heal no matter the diagnosis.  Her expertise lies in breaking down inflammation at the cause of the problem, as opposed to addressing the symptoms.  The program requires a commitment from the client to show-up first and foremost with themselves.

Lori Lynn began her career as a Trigger Point, deep tissue therapist.  From the very first chronic pain sufferer who presented on her table--people in pain find her.  In the first year of her career, Lori decided to work exclusively with musicians.  They taught her about inflammation and the way it moves through the body to create symptoms.
In 2003, she became a private therapist to a client plagued with migraines, chronic back pain and a host of other inflammatory conditions.  It took eight months to transition her to healing.  Once better, Lori joined Northwestern Memorial Hospital's in-home hospice group in 2004.  Deep tissue is contraindicated at the end stage of life related to the fragility of the patients, thus she began to dabble in a light pressured approach to deep tissue.  This began the development of a method unlike anything in the healing arts --Inflammation Release Technique, which gained the attention of her peers.
In 2008, Ms. Spencer joined Northwestern Memorial's Physician Group as a part of their Integrative Medicine Team.  It was within this group that she began to conduct trials on nine of her patients to create a pilot study.  At the Second International Fascia Research Congress (2009) in Amsterdam, Spencer presented her research.  It was reviewed and accepted by the fields top MD's/PhD's. In June of 2014, in Snowmass, Colorado, Ms. Spencer presented her theories on restoring vocal register at the Performing Arts Medicine Association (PAMA).
Lori has brought her technique to the patient population by way of a premier academic medical center, chiropractic and osteopathic practices, dance centers, hospitals, rehabilitation clinics, large scaled doctor conferences and Trump International Spa.  Ms. Spencer maintained a private practice in Chicago for over twelve years.  She created a wellness Internet radio program that was heard across seventeen countries.  She has worked on celebrities, professional athletes, WWE wrestlers, International and Nationally touring musicians, as well as everyday people.  She has and continues to exceed the continuing education requirements through her professional licensure, and her board certification by engaging in world renown forums on the study of fascia (the connective tissue), and research forums, as well as select invitations through the Fascia Research Congress, and has participated in four cadaver dissections.
In addition, Ms. Spencer has taught contemporary health  issues courses and has served as an honorary advisor to the Health Sciences Department at Northwestern College, in Chicago, Illinois.  Lori published a book in 2007.  Her published work has been featured in Massage Magazine, Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals newsletter, and Mature Spiritually Magazine.  She has been interviewed by Baylor University, several times on KDNK, the Chicago Tribune, and she speaks at wellness expos throughout the country.  She was introduced to herbal medicine in a resettlement community in El Salvador and studied hands-on energy healing in Norway.  She holds a BA from DePaul University, and a clinical massage therapy diploma from the Soma Institute.  Lori Lynn holds professional membership with the American Massage Therapy Association and the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Body Workers.  Lori is also Red Cross CPR and First Aid certified.
