Laughter is the Best Medicine

"Laughter is the Best Medicine." I totally and wholeheartedly appreciate that statement. No matter where I have been on my journey, humor has been a constant in my life and it has provided me with a way to lighten up stressful situations. From raising teenagers to learning anatomy in my 50s, if I didn't find humor in my life, I'd have to take up exercise. Nobody wants that.

My journey as a "healer" started in 2011 when I became a Reiki practitioner to help me manage my own chronic pain. I started to help others deal with stress and pain with Reiki and noticed my intuition had really opened up doing this work.

To bring another level of healing to my practice, I graduated from the massage program at Asnuntuck Community College in Enfield, CT. I am interested in helping people bring balance to their lives through a combination of energy healing and relaxation massage.

My practice is located within the Massage & Reiki Center of Glastonbury, LLC.

Counseling

Hospice Volunteer

This does not relate to Counseling but becoming a hospice volunteer in 2014 was very rewarding. Being present for people at the end of their lives is a privilege and one is reminded of the importance of empathy and nurturing.

Certified Medium

Developing my abilities further through a Level I and Level II mediumship course at a local healing center. I believe that the loved ones of my clients are present for their healing.

Coaching

Author

A friend and I co-wrote the book "Bridging the Psychic Gap - a Workbook of Psychic Development" which is available on Amazon. Much of that book was channeled as neither of us remembers really writing most of it. Chapters on Chakras and Grounding are helpful to my clients because we work on those areas during a healing session.
