After 25 years of federal service, I found myself drawn to massage after an Alexandar School of Natural Therapeutics alum affectionately known as “Big Mike” fixed my husband’s low back and shoulder pain. A retired rigger from Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Harry had been “avoiding the knife” for decades. But, he was beginning to lose the battle. “Big Mike” Summers stopped that decline, and I took notice.
Committed to changing lives one massage at a time, one of my greatest pleasures is removing tension from clients’ bodies so they can enjoy their lives to the fullest extent possible and pursue what pleases them with joie de vivre. I enjoy working with all types of clients, including expectant mothers and children. My approach to the body and massage therapy is one of balance: I am a certified Zen Bodytherapist who also values hydrotherapy and spa treatments.
A graduate of the prestigious, award-winning Alexandar School of Natural Therapeutics I have been practicing massage since 2017. I am concurrently employed at Alexandar’s, where I serve as the School Advisor.
Originally from Montgomery, Alabama, I am an active member in the Puget Sound Retriever Club, currently serving as Secretary, and the North American Hunting Retriever Association. I recently took up sporting clays and enjoy being outdoors with my husband and Labs chasing upland game birds or sitting in a blind watching for waterfowl. Besides our canine “kids,” we have five children and eight grandchildren.
