Abby Mullett, LMT, a Dutchtown graduate and former level 10 gymnast, is originally from Lake Charles, Louisiana. Abby and her family moved to Baton Rouge when she was 9 years old to chase her dream of becoming a high-level gymnast. Abby held many titles throughout her gymnastic career, including State, Regional and National champion. Abby tore her ACL while competing as a level 9 gymnast and after a vigorous rehabilitation program, she returned once again to the world of competitive gymnastics, quickly becoming a level 10 gymnast. While continuing to train and perfect her skills as a level 10, she ruptured her ACL which required a total reconstruction of her  ACL. Sadly her gymnastic career abruptly ended. During her recovery, she became interested in helping others with their rehabilitation. Upon graduating from high school, Abby, along with her twin sister Anna, her oldest sister Allie and her parents returned to Lake Charles. Abby graduated from Louisiana Institute for Massage Therapy and worked in a spa setting upon graduation. Eventually, Abby secured a position at SWLA Sports and Rehab Center where she collaborated with Physical and Occupational Therapists maximizing patient outcomes. Abby fell in love with the people and the exciting atmosphere of Baton Rouge and has returned to the place which she calls “home”.
