April Epps has been a Licensed Massage Therapist in the state of Nevada since October of 2013. She complete the massage therapy program at The Bodhi Tree Center for Healing Arts in Carson City, NV, and has more than 600 hours in education and training. April has experience in many different modalities such as: therapeutic massage, sports massage, chair massage, energy healing, acupressure, and shiatsu. She decided to put her talents on the move by opening Awesome Dynamics Health & Wellness, a mobile massage practice in April 2014.
April is fascinated by all of the amazing things our bodies are capable of, from the inside to the outside. Part of her philosophy for health and wellness, includes keeping up for outside passions. She is currently pursuing a career as a stunt performer! She attended the International Stunt School in August 2016, and dedicates time each week to improvement in her training and seeking out opportunities to use and advance her skills. Dreaming big and pushing limits are important to her. Massage and bodywork are an important addition to keeping her healthy and capable of all of her activities.
April leans towards a traditional Chinese medicine approach in bodywork, with a focus toward whole body integration. Movement is a fundamental aspect in obtaining a healthy lifestyle. Movement in the physical body, movement in the energetic body, and movement in our spiritual and emotional lives; these parts of the whole being or individual require our attention to continue this movement. Body maintenance and upkeep can have a huge impact on an individuals life. April's experience in the bodywork field, as well as her strong desire to lead her own life in a healthy and balanced way, have given her a broad base of tools to use in finding each clients own path back to movement.
