Life is better with massage!

When I was 21 years old I was in a head-on collision with a drunk driver and it changed my life.  My injuries caused me to change my life-style, but what really had an impact on me was the realization that I could have died in the accident.  I realized that life could be short and I wanted to make the most of my time on earth doing things that really mattered to me.  Once I started thinking in this manner, I was guided along what now seems like stepping stones to my career in massage therapy....

The Transpersonal Psychology class I took while pursuing my undergraduate Psychology degree sparked my curiosity in the mind-body connection and I decided to go to massage school to "learn" about it.  When I toured The Florida School of Massage with the director, unbeknownst to him, he talked about my favorite college professor -- the man who taught my Transpersonal Psychology class!  I felt as if I had roots growing out from beneath me and into the ground, and I choose FSM for schooling.

I fell in love with massage therapy!  My years as a competitive athlete deepened my understanding of the body, and the physicality of the work came easily to me.  Plus receiving massage eased physical discomfort I had been carrying around for years and helped heal the car accident injuries that my medical doctors were unable to do anything for.  There was so much to learn and so much that interested me that I decided to stick with Massage as a profession.

I am married to a Chiropractor and our lives are dedicated to helping people heal and improve their lives.  I started my career in 1993 and have been providing Therapeutic Massage and Deep Relaxation Bodywork for over 20 years.  I love to help people get out of pain and find greater ease in their bodies.  Come see how your life is better with massage!

Mary is amazing! I came in with prolonged shoulder pain and limited range of motion that was affecting me work wise for about 6 weeks. Since my session almost a week ago I've had a major relief and almost full range of motion. I plan to see her again very soon and also to take my mom as well. I highly recommend seeing her if you're experiencing any discomfort.
