I first fell in love with the healing power of massage when I received my first massage while in college to pursue an art degree. After two years of college, I switched gears and enrolled in Blanchard Valley Academy of Massage Therapy. After receiving my medical license in 2007, I worked in a small, but busy independent massage clinic in northwest Ohio, and continued to hone my massage and bodywork skills through continuing education. I studied Muscle Release Technique with Michael Young, a deeper tissue technique well suited to addressing a variety of pain conditions and repetitive use injuries. I've also studied Craniosacral I and II with the Upledger Institute, and I find that the addition of craniosacral therapy rounds out my therapeutic bodywork offerings in a much more complete way. Craniosacral therapy can be blended with more traditional massage techniques, or can act as a stand alone treatment. After a short break from massage to become a stay at home mom and after moving to Gahanna, I've had the opportunity to work in a couple clinic settings in the Columbus area before opening my own practice here in Gahanna, Ohio.
