Melissa’s journey into medical massage began with a serious back injury that required surgery. Melissa continues to build upon her knowledge base by continued learning from experienced professionals. She believes that in order to grow in one’s profession, one must continue to learn.

Melissa is skilled in Swedish Massage, On-site Chair Massage, Hot Stone Massage , Myofascial Release Therapy, Interferential Vibration Therapy, and Precision Neuromuscular Therapy, Rock Tape Specialist. In addition she has several hours of Client Centered Care at the Institute of Holistic Leadership, Learning about Functional Nutrition, and learning hypnotherapy by Marissa Peer

She explained everything so well, made sure I was comfortable with the vibration machine to help with the muscles, and even gave me a few samples of pain relief cream to try. Such a great experience!

I have been hampered by a shoulder injury for 1.5 years, limiting my range of motion and causing sharp pain when my arm moved a certain way. I thought I was stuck with that injury for life. Melissa obviously knows what she's doing, because this wasn't just a relaxing massage - it was truly therapeutic and life changing. My range of motion has dramatically improved and the sudden, sharp pains have not occurred since my massage. I will definitely be back for more!
