Feeling Mad as a Hatter?

When I was first introduced to Massage Therapy, I was pregnant with my first child and I was in pain.  My body was changing on top of the already chronic pain I was in from being in a retail job where I was on my feet all day on a concrete floor.   I saw a Therapist inside a Physical Therapy office close to me and enjoyed what she did.  She told me what she had found and that she had worked some things out. I was amazed.  In just a half hour, I stood up from the table and felt so much better, like I could move again.  Even then, it still wasn't until after I'd had my first child that I had another professional massage.  I found a therapist my sister had used before and went to see her.

So when I decided to go back to college, I went to the local Miller-Motte Technical College. I knew I wanted a new career, to work for myself, I just wasn't sure what I wanted to do.  I had been in a medical professional for almost five years and wanted to stay on that track.  The recruiter suggested Massage Therapy.  We toured the school and the next thing I knew, I was signed up to start the very next week.
Though I offer most of what was taught in school,  I like to focus on Athletic Modalities.  I offer relaxation, Therapeutic and Sports as well as Pregnancy Massages.  I have a passion for what I do and a passion for learning and am always trying to learn new things about Massage Therapy to be able to better help my clients.

I am a small business owner and have two locations for you: one in Dalton and one in Ringgold, Georgia.
So here's to all the desk jockeys, weekend warriors, stretched to near breaking Moms, let me show you what reclaiming your body and your sanity feels like.

Mattie help rejuvenate my circulation in my legs and feet. I noticed swelling was gone and I could move alot easier within the first visit. I look forward to working with her to get my body feeling alive and youthful again.

I've been regularly seeing Mattie for about a year now. I like to stay fairly active regularly cycling and hiking. Recently, I've added running to my routine. As my body has been adapting to the new sport, Mattie has been very instrumental in helping alleviate any hip and leg stresses to get me comfortably back on trails. She takes the time to listen to where I feel I need help and works magic. Often times, she finds hidden, strained spots. I often find myself falling asleep on the table and feeling completely restored after each session.

I always feel relaxed when in a session with Mattie. She is very skilled at knowing pressure points and how to work out my tight muscles and any knots. I've noticed a difference in my vigor since seeing Mattie.
