Feeling Mad as a Hatter?

When I was first introduced to Massage Therapy, I was pregnant with my first child and I was in pain.  My body was changing on top of the already chronic pain I was in from being in a retail job where I was on my feet all day on a concrete floor.   I saw a Therapist inside a Physical Therapy office close to me and enjoyed what she did.  She told me what she had found and that she had worked some things out. I was amazed.  In just a half hour, I stood up from the table and felt so much better, like I could move again.  Even then, it still wasn't until after I'd had my first child that I had another professional massage.  I found a therapist my sister had used before and went to see her.

So when I decided to go back to college, I went to the local Miller-Motte Technical College. I knew I wanted a new career, to work for myself, I just wasn't sure what I wanted to do.  I had been in a medical professional for almost five years and wanted to stay on that track.  The recruiter suggested Massage Therapy.  We toured the school and the next thing I knew, I was signed up to start the very next week.
Though I offer most of what was taught in school,  I like to focus on Athletic Modalities.  I offer relaxation, Therapeutic and Sports as well as Pregnancy Massages.  I have a passion for what I do and a passion for learning and am always trying to learn new things about Massage Therapy to be able to better help my clients.

I am a small business owner and have two locations for you: one in Dalton and one in Ringgold, Georgia.
So here's to all the desk jockeys, weekend warriors, stretched to near breaking Moms, let me show you what reclaiming your body and your sanity feels like.

REVIEWS for my Coaching, Spa, or Bodywork services

I loved getting a massage by someone knowledgeable in therapeutic massage. The atmosphere was calm and clean. The only downside was at the very begining of my experience. I parked at the address but didn't see a sign for their business and the door was locked. I went back to the car to double-check the address, called the office didn't get an answer. After about 15 minutes I decided to knock on the door just in case. Turns out they keep the door locked until appointment time. This would have been helpful information to know when I booked my appointment.

The therapist was very sweet and listened to my needs. I would only change the depth of pressure. I would have liked it to be a deeper tissue massage, but that was probably my fault for not speaking up.

Professional and concerned about areas that needed attention.

Mattie was super sweet and attentive to my needs! She gave a good relaxation massage, which is exactly what I asked for. She was very gentle with my adductors, and I appreciated that! ???????? Sometimes the massage oil felt a little chilly when it was applied, but when Mattie turned on the table warmer it wasn't as noticeable. The only constructive comment I can offer is I would have liked more full-hand contact with some of the compressions and strokes; I find that comforting. Thanks for the relaxing massage, Mattie!

I had a great experience. Communication was great, she was friendly and professional. I will definitely return.

The table was a little too hard and music a little loud. Walls are way too thin because you could hear people coming in and out so it was hard to relax. The massage was ok. Might have been better if noise wasn't so prevalent.

Mattie did a great job and was very professional. I would have liked a little more attention paid to my neck area, but maybe we can get that next time????

Mattie did an outstanding job. It was truly a wonderful experience! She was very pleasant and very skilled at what she does. I have had massages before where there was too much down time or interruption in the massage, but Mattie was very smooth with no interruption. Her hands are amazing! She was meant to be a massage therapist. I already look forward to my next appointment with her!
