Tanya is a Licensed Massage Therapist, Esthetician, and Nail Technician. She is a fifth generation SWFL resident. Tanya has worked as a service provider in many different environments during her career, such as in chiropractic/rehabilitative care, high end day spas, boutique spas, and world renowned resort spas. Tanya is a Licensed Massage Therapist, Esthetician, and Nail Technician. She is a fifth generation SWFL resident. Tanya has worked as a service provider in many different environments during her career, such as in chiropractic/rehabilitative care, high end day spas, boutique spas, and world renowned resort spas. Tanya has also served as  Director of Services for an exclusive day spa in Naples, FL and has been an industry educator in both Lee and Collier counties since 2012. 


Tanya enjoys forming meaningful relationships with her guests and tailors every service specifically for the individualized needs of each guest. Tanya works under the philosophy that "massage doesn't need to hurt to work". On a pain scale of 1-10 (1 being almost no pain, and 10 being an extreme amount of pain) when preforming deeper bodywork, the recipient should experience no more than a 5-6. It should "hurt so good". In fact, working beyond a 5-6 on a guest's pain scale is actually counterproductive. When the body experiences real pain or trauma, the muscles begin to tense, which is obviously not what we are looking for. Also, going too deep can cause tissue damage. We want to work with that happy medium, so that the body allows the muscles to say, "Yes, this feels good, a little pain, but good pain." When this happens the muscle tissue begins to relax, thus allowing the practitioner access to deeper musculature. As for being in pain the day following a massage, Tanya says, "This should really never happen if the massage is preformed correctly."

Tanya practices a range of modalities and is one of the few massage therapists in the area that have certification and advanced training in Perinatal or Postpartum massage. With years of knowledge, intuitive touch and certifications in advanced practices, you will always be in "good hands".

I had the most relaxing and therapeutic experience at The Spa At the Shores. Tanya is amazing- her years of experience and professionalism shine!
