The goal of Under Pressure Therapeutics is to specialize in rehabilitative massage therapy. Working with many clients for injury or surgery recovery paved the road to creating a pain-free bodywork clinic. Having been involved with multiple whiplash injuries, Marissa delivers a specialized massage tailored to your needs. By combining Neuromuscular Therapy, Trigger Point Therapy, Asian Bodyworks, and her experience, Marissa is sure to meet your bodywork needs. 

Since opening Under Pressure Therapeutics, Marissa has also opened The Orchard, An Integrated Health Center. Come to the Orchard to receive Therapeutic Massage, Acupuncture, Counseling, Career Counseling, or take classes on how to improve your life.

Marissa specializes in accident recovery and deep tissue massage. I had so much scar tissue from a back surgery some years ago that the pain would drop me to the floor. Within a month, Marissa had gotten me to the point where I could get out of bed and standing rather than lying in agony on the floor. Marissa explains what she's doing and how it will help you and how there is sort of a chain reaction with the muscles that are problematic. Clearly after 10+ years, I personally wouldn't see anyone else for my muscle issues.

Marissa was able to get out knots I think I've had since high school. Best massage I've had. Fantastic pressure, friendly conversation, but not overly conversational. I normally have a hard time relaxing when people are touching me, but I felt completely at ease with Marissa.
