Catie holds a BA in Sociology from the University of Colorado and graduated from the Massage Therapy Institute of Colorado in 2007. After working in the spa/salon field, teaching, and working in private practice it was time for a change in scenery. In 2013, an opportunity to move into a new role as owner and director of Amara Massage Therapy & Wellness in Fort Collins, Colorado, started a new journey and return home.

In the last three years, she has devoted herself to the learning and application of science-based massage therapy practices for business and how best to implement these practices to offer clients a supportive and professional experience. In addition to directing Amara Massage, Catie also offers outcall sessions through her private practice, Evolve Massage, and is also available for wellness career consulting.
