Amanda recently graduated from a 2200 hour program at Alberta College of Massage Therapy. Over the next year Amanda looks forward to learning more about the human body and how to effectively treat injuries and conditions. She enjoys using myofascial techniques and hopes to absorb as much as she can from the talented professionals at Full Range Therapy. Amanda has a thirst for learning, particularly in psychology and overall wellness. Before starting her massage career, she was studying for her Bachelor of Science degree at MacEwan University, and has plans to finish her Master’s Degree in Psychology in the future.

Since starting her massage training, Amanda has found her passion is centered around prenatal and infant massage. She has a strong belief in the power of touch and feels that the bond between mother and child starts long before birth. Amanda has recently finished her prenatal certification with Axiom College, with the hopes to work exclusively with pregnant women in the future. Amanda considers herself to be a lifetime student with no intention of stopping in her search for knowledge.

She is currently pursuing a course in K-Taping for Woman’s Health and Breast Massage so that she may further help her clients. Amanda is currently trying to gain more experience with her prenatal certificate, so if you or anyone you know is currently pregnant. Please contact Amanda at contact@fullrangetherapy.com for special pricing.

Certified Prenatal

Certified Prenatal, Massage Therapists have advanced education and techniques in conception, prenatal, prelabour, labour, and postpartum massage. Massage is one of the safest modalities for pregnancy. With no physiological complications or fertility issues, massage can influence and encourage conception. Stress is detrimental to the fertilization process (in both male and female); massage is an effective treatment to decrease stress. Massage can help maintain a healthier pregnancy; relieve neck, back, leg, and round ligament pain; lowers the rate of premature labour; reduces labour and delivery times; and helps facilitate a natural childbirth.

Amanda works out my troublesome spots (which are often plenty) and ends with relaxing me by massaging my feet, hands, and scalp. She goes the extra mile to research issues and find answers. I am always super impressed!
