Ivana Shoop is a skilled massage therapist and wellness practitioner with a background in mental health and spirituality. Ivana believes in the connection between mind, body and spirit and is devoted to facilitating harmony, health and integration in her clients.
As a bodyworker, Ivana blends Polarity Therapy, Cranial Sacral Therapy, Connective (Fascial) Tissue Work, Neuro-Muscular (Trigger Point) Therapy, and Swedish Massage. She focuses on increasing relaxation and recovery while decreasing pain and blocked energy.
With her background in mental health, Ivana encourages her clients to integrate mindfulness of body, mind and emotions while on and off the massage table and teaches mindful self-compassion and coping skills upon request. Ivana has had success with helping clients decrease symptoms of anxiety, depression and overwhelm and increase feelings of peace, wellbeing and self-confidence.
Ivana is an ordained minister with a deep respect for all religions and beliefs, including non-belief. For clients who wish to do so, Ivana will also integrate prayer and the laying of hands into her wellness practice.
Ivana graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Washington State University in 2010 and worked in behavioral/mental health for four years before becoming a body worker. She graduated from the Arizona School of Integrative Studies in August of 2016 and became a licensed massage therapist in the state of Arizona in October of 2016.
