Several years ago I made the decision to become a massage therapist. As I continued to practice as a mental health therapist, I recognized that human touch is vital to our mental and emotional well-being. Whether it is a hug when we are celebrating or grieving, holding our child's hand or a getting the knots worked out of our muscles, touch is a way of connecting.
In my practice, I stress the importance of listening to you and your body. Sometimes we want to be pampered and sometimes we have muscle and fascia issues that need to be addressed.
Massage does not need to be painful to be effective. My goal is not to hurt you but to create a space that helps heal and relax you.
My specialties are Swedish massage, Myofascial release therapy, cupping, meditative massage and Reiki. I also provide out-call massage for clients in palliative and hospice care.
