She understands how massage is an important part of our healthcare routines whether treating an injury, a chronic condition, preventative care or simply for relaxation and rejuvenation. Her goal as a massage therapist is to work with client’s to address their specific needs while maintaining an overall sense of wellness and balance.
LuAnn provides the following modalities to her clients: Swedish Massage, Pregnancy Massage, Treatment, Sports and Orthopedic Massage.
LuAnn’s strong foundation in Swedish Massage and Myofascial techniques provide therapeutic benefits in many aspects of massage from relaxation/spa to treatment modalities. She enjoys working with clients to create a pause from the stress and demands of daily life, giving their mind and body a chance to relax and rejuvenate.
LuAnn also provides Treatment Massage, including Sports Massage. She is able to create and carry out injury specific treatment plans that helps facilitate recovery and achieve the client’s functional goals. She enjoys working with clients who are active in sports or other physical activities for maintenance and preventative massage, as well as for injuries or event recovery.
LuAnn has a special interest in Orthopedic Massage, which is beneficial for those with chronic injuries or conditions. She is able to assess a client’s area of concern and translate how the restrictions or areas of pain relate to soft tissue or joint dysfunction and what other areas of the body might be compensating. She has specific interest in frozen shoulders, SI joint injuries, and conditions limiting range of motion and pain in the hips.
