Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around. Leo Buscaglia

Rachelle Ebbesson began her massage education with an intensive training in Traditional Thai Massage taught by Gabriel Azoulay, a student of Pichet Boonthume of Chang Mai, Thailand. This foundational course inspired her to travel to Chang Mai and advance her study at the world renowned International Training Massage School. Rachelle's interpretation of Thai Massage is tempered and softened by her study of Myofascial Release under the guidance of Til Luchau, an Advanced Rolfer and teacher of Clinical Myofascial Release techniques. She blends these two exceptional modalities to create a bodywork session that applies the principles of yoga asana, therapeutic breath work, and the gentle, but intense stretches of Traditional Thai bodywork with the slow fascia melting method learned under the tutelage of Advanced Rolfing Instructors.

Additionally, Rachelle's past seven years working in the field of Trauma and Addiction Recovery have given her an understanding of the body-mind connection as it relates to both physical pain and emotional holding patterns. To receive a session that encompasses both the physical and energetic aspects of the body is an experience that goes beyond the hour spent on the table. It produces a centered state of awareness of self that spills into other aspects of your life. You will find breath, movement and rest to be more fulfilling and a state of mental ease will naturally return to your day.

Rachelle is currently accepting clients for Traditional Thai Massage, Ashiatsu and Clinical Myofascial Release.
