Ursula Schmidt-Jordan is a Board Certified Therapeutic Massage Practitioner and a National Provider. She is the owner of Æsculap Therapeutic & Sports Massage LLC, practicing in the Ewing, Pennington, Hopewell and Princeton, New Jersey area. She is committed to alternative treatments, facilitating the true and innate healing powers of clients and thereby enabling a client to be the best he/she can be without drugs. 

Her specialties lie in therapeutic deep tissue & sports as well as connective tissue massage and pain management. Ursula believes that her success as a therapist is largely due to her education, training, knowledge, understanding and dedication to the field as well as the complete physical and innate ability to deliver outstanding bodywork. 

She was educated in Germany, employed for many years in the US pharmaceutical industry where she worked side by side with researchers and doctors and assisted in clinical research from stage 0 (lab animal) through 5 (marketing). Her start in massage therapy was catalyzed by a breaking point in her career when Ursula took a leap to be part of the true side of healing, about which she says "Massage therapy is one of the oldest healing methods known to humanity."
Ursula's capability and expert hands enable her to deliver most satisfactory massages while her personality allows her to work well with people. She counts clients whose pain has been lessened and completely turned around by massages as a satisfactory factor of being a valuable massage therapist. About the degree of relief that the massages deliver she states "Listen to your body...your body will tell you what it is missing, tell you what you have to alter in order for it to function at its best." 

Ursula is partnered up with American Specialty Health Group, Inc. (ASH) one of the nation’s largest complementary health care networks both regionally and nationally for major health plans such as Aetna, BlueCross BlueShield, CIGNA, Health Net and others.
