Hi, my name is Teresa Phillips. I have been a professional License Massage Therapist for the past four years and am doing business as Soothing Hands Therapeutic Massage. I had a successful massage practice in Camas, Washington before moving to the Rhea country area here in Tennessee. I currently have the pleasure of working part-time with a great team of professional therapists at Graceworks Skincare and Bodywork located in downtown Dayton. I also have a massage practice of my own located in Evensville.

I have worked in the medical field for 15+ years as an In-home Care provider and and have been registered in the state of Washington as a CNA since 2009. While working on my prerequisites for the nursing program, I have gained extensive knowledge in Anatomy and physiology, the human biologies, and how the body works to heal itself. Most importantly, throughout my education, work experience and life itself, I have learned how to give of myself and strive towards giving unconditional love and compassion to all.

While waiting to enter the Nursing program, I decided to enroll in a Massage Therapy course. Once I began my studies in massage, I realized I found my true passion. What greater tools to use than my hands to help those who are hurting or just need to relax! Massage therapy has so many holistic benefits. Soothing the mind, body, and spirit all at once! With massage a person can receives increased range of motion, pain relief, decrease stress, a feeling of overall wellness, increase in circulation, and so much more! I feel so blessed to be a professional Massage Therapist. With my knowledge and medical health experience, I am better equipped to serve my clients and their individual needs.

I have been a Licensed Massage Therapist for four years now and have been a successful small business owner; establishing myself as Soothing Hands Therapeutic Massage. My practice has mainly been directed towards therapeutic and/or medical. Meaning I have had the privilege of assisting many of my clients regain or improve their ROM, loosen scare tissue, decrease pain, and increase the healing process after surgery. Many of my clients have discovered the benefits of massage and come to me as a source of alternative/preventative medicine.
