I began my life in Eugene, Oregon, where I currently live and practice massage and bodywork. My passion for soccer, cycling, running, and disc golf are what inspire me to focus my life's work on physical and athletic function. My studies began in 2006 at Lane Community College where I successfully completed my Oregon Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) board exam in 2008. Immediately after finishing school I began an apprenticeship with advanced massage instructor, Walter Libby. He humbly taught me even more detail about muscular anatomy, and proportionate treatments of the body! I am ever grateful for what Walter has taught me over the years, and what we still continue to learn together.

Throughout 2010 and 2011 Walter and I attended a series of classes that focused on instructor Jeffrey Burch's osteopathic "functional methods", and "comprehensive visceral manipulation". Coursework included a variety of assessment, and treatment techniques. These are applied with minimal force, to create maximum result! I was facinated with the work because it involved nerves, blood vecsles, viscera(organ support), and many other anatomical structures I formerly thought were un-treatable. The results I see are longer lasting and more profound than muscle work, with effortless power, the set of techniques are a velvet hammer!

I love what I do, and am dedicated to helping others. Since my licensing in 2008 I completed nearly two hundred continuing education hours. I have also received hundreds of hours of body work from therapists whom I look up to and respect for the quality of their work. These experiences make me a better body worker and ignite in me a passion to continue learning!

My studio is in my mother's home. It's the house I grew up in and where my roots grow deeper, as I am a family man with a young son, Silas. He is the light which I draw my inspiration, and the stability to keep me grounded. The studio has undergone a transormation in the last several years,  and continues to grow character each day with artwork from my grandpa, an ever-expanding garden, and books adding to the bookshelfs. This space is a cumulation of my dream to be a bodywoker, and I am thankful for each and every one of my friends, family, and clients who have helped me get this far!

Kevin helped fix areas of my body that were not functioning the way they should and relived my pain.

Kevin is such an amazing healer, practitioner, and so enthusiastically smart. I don't really understand everything he does but it works! He is also funny, great communicator, and so easy to connect with. You can't not love him! I came in feeling fragmented after a bike accident and left feeling aligned again. Magic.

Kevin approaches every treatment with an open mind. His assessments provide uncanny accuracy and really guide his highly specific treatments. Kevin's style of manual therapy is unique: he draws on a range of assessments and treatments across the fields of bodywork, efficiently and effectively blending approaches such as visceral manipulation (an incredibly subtle and barely-perceptible style that releases tiny fibrosities in the body's tissues), fascial/trigger point treatments (generally towards the uncomfortable range of the pain scale), and active release techniques (using client positioning and muscle engagement to help relieve tension/spasm/pain/problem spots). While I enjoy massages in general, their effects never seem to hold for more than a few hours. Kevin's treatments, however, help re-establish the way I move, allowing results to last for days to weeks, and sometimes even indefinitely!

Kevin is very knowledgeable and does a great job of explaining what’s happening in my body in relationship to the symptoms I’m experiencing. He is straight forward, trustworthy, and very kind. I highly recommend trying his sessions out!
