I have been practicing massage for as long as I can remember. When I was a child my mom would always ask me to rub her feet, back, or head. Touch has been an important and regular part of my life, as I have consistently sought to heal myself and others. Helping someone feel relaxed is a very gratifying experience for me. I am a native Oregonian who lived in the central part of the state until 2010, when I graduated high school and came to Eugene. In July 2017 my path brought me to enroll in the Massage Therapy program at IBS School of Cosmetology and Massage in Eugene, Oregon. I graduated in March 2019, and I am excited to begin this journey into helping others to heal with my new business, MoonSong Massage. I realized the outstanding benefits of massage while I was pregnant with my son. Through compassionate touch, a daily yoga routine, and meditation I believe I was able to have the home water birth I had dreamt of. My positive experience became the driving force behind my pursuing the healing arts. I finished my schooling as a single working mother and I can't thank everyone who has supported me enough. I maintained a GPA above 90%, passed all tests, and graduated early. I am proud to be opening my own business, and I love the freedom of entrepreneurship. I am ready to be self motivated and so excited to offer services to my community! Besides massage, I spend my days with my beautiful son, outdoors hiking, camping or kayaking, playing instruments, practicing yoga and aerial acrobatics, travelling, reading, making art, and dancing. I am eager to learn as much as possible, experience new things, and become the best person I can be. I hope to help improve the lives of my clients by spreading healing energy, setting specific intentions, and really taking the time understand their unique needs.
