Mark Richmond relocated his somatic therapy practice to El Paso from Sacramento in 2009. He completed his hospital based massage externship at Sutter General Hospital. Mark Richmond relocated his somatic therapy practice to El Paso from Sacramento in 2009. He completed his hospital based massage externship at Sutter General Hospital. Mark returned to Citrus Heights, California in 2013 for an additional acupressure practitioner certification. He is a graduate of the Healing Arts Institute, and participates in coalition projects with the Alcohol Impact and Tobacco Control networks in the Paso del Norte region. Mark also serves our therapist community on the Massage Advisory Committee.

When not providing clientele with massage therapy, Mark pursues his Multi Level Marketing profession in health and wellness products. He is also Beijing certified in the movement practice of qigong, enjoys skiing, eating his favorite foods, watching great movies and spectating drum & bugle corps.

Mark graduated from the Healing Arts Institute, (Citrus Heights, California), in 2006. While both, his brother and partner were lost to cancer, the experience led him to completed his hospital based massage certification and influenced Mark's career toward clinical modalities in wellness. He returned to the Healing Arts Institute in 2013 for an additional practitioner certification in acupressure. In addition to Mark's natural medicine interests, he holds three essential oils certifications, provides Raindrop Technique, and offers Qigong movement therapies, awarded in Beijing, China.

One of the best massage experiences I’ve ever had! Mark really knows what he’s doing—super knowledgeable and takes the time to actually listen to what’s going on with your body.
