Sean’s style is based on what seems to serve the body best, oscillating between fluid maneuvering around the body through generally firm, yet free-flowing, soothing techniques and a more grounded connection through static compression with the fingers, palms, or forearms. He often incorporates light rocking or vibration in conjunction with other techniques to more directly engage with the nervous system as he works with the muscles at depth. Most importantly, Sean pays close attention to the cues and tension of the client’s body for insight on what to do next while also remaining connected to his breath and kinetic sense to guide his transitions during the massage.
