I am a recently licensed Massage Therapist and Body worker in NC(#16173). I attended Body Therapy Institute from 2015-2016, graduating in August of 2016. I did my externship at UNC Cancer Center in Chapel Hill, NC and spent over 20 hours giving chair massages to their wonderful nurses and support staff. Chair Massage
Participated in an event as a LMBT recently doing chair massage at the Mayton Inn in Cary, NC with a fellow classmate. I performed five, ten minute chair massages for out of town guests taking a Taste of Raleigh Tour.
Chair Massage
Recently performed corporate chair massage for a local company. I performed two forty-five minute chair massages to clients at their business.
Externship
Performed over 20 hours of chair massage through BTI's externship program at UNC's Cancer Hospital to nurses, doctors and support staff over the course of a month.
Clinics
I participated in a free for the public clinic with a focus on Classic Swedish Massage. I performed six massages over the course of two days. We practiced evaluating clients, setting up a session plan, completing the massage and professional development.
Myo Clinic
Participated in clinic at BTI by performing four myofascial massages at our community clinic. We practice intake/outtake with clients, session planning, timing and professionalism.
