If there was a sport with competition involved, Matthew played it - soccer, basketball, baseball, ultimate frisbee, four square, tetherball, hacky sack, devils sticks... With 16 years of experience as an archaeologist, Matthew brings a unique perspective and openness in listening to client needs. He is motivated to help clients stay in the present, stay active, and maintain positive athletic momentum to live their best stories. When not providing bodywork or practicing his own corrective exercises at the Endurance Collective, he can be found on one of his bikes, trail running, or gardening and cooking with his family. Matthew has found purpose and passion in massage therapy, continually seeking to expand his range of modalities and techniques to best serve client needs.

Matthew is a true professional and people person. An hour massage with him always makes for a great conversation while knowing my body is in the hands of someone who has lots of experience and willingness to listen to my pain-points. He truly listens and empathizes with my concerns which I appreciate.

I value the sports related approach to my bimonthly massage. While I do feel good after it, it is not just a superficial, veneer feel good. Matthew goes deeper and addresses muscles that require the attention.
