I decided to become a massage therapist at a women's luncheon. The speaker was Sister Rosalind Gefre of St. Paul, Minnesota. Her topic, The Power of Human Touch. She was a powerful, visionary, and revolutionary woman - massage was not yet mainstream! It was quite a few years before I could take a year off to study. But finally, I made it happen. I am a 2002 graduate of the Lake Superior College massage therapy program. I have an additional 200+ hours of training in myofascial release. And, I am a certified Spring Forest Qigong study group leader.
