In 2009 I was in a horrible 4 car pile up automobile accident that left me in unmanageable pain. I was told I needed to have my cervical and thoracic vertebrae completely fused, so as the owner/operator of a working cattle ranch that meant I would never ride again or perform the necessary manual labor on the ranch that is required daily.

I sought out "alternative" therapies to try and find help, PT, chiropractic, massage, and acupuncture, unfortunately after 8 months of 5 days a week I was in worse pain than after the initial accident and my chiropractor sent me back to the surgeon to schedule my surgery. Thankfully a friend suggested Bowenwork Therapy which I immediately discounted because I had not heard of it, (Bowenwork has only been the US since 1992) but I was in so much pain and didn't want to have the surgeries so I reluctantly made an appt.
I will be completely honest with you, I thought it was total "hogwash" for a lack of a better term, how could something so gentle and non-invasive actually help me, especially when I was used to being cracked, popped, and deep tissued to death?!? Well, after the 2nd session, 1 session once a week, I was beginning to notice a difference in my pain, I continued going once per week for 8 weeks until I was completely out of pain and then only went back once a month for maintenance to make sure I didn't go "backwards" in my healing journey!
I sent so many people to get help like I did, that I decided I needed to go back to school, learn this therapy and open my own clinic, so I could help others the way I was helped! Which is exactly what I did, I am also a certified Bowenwork Instructor and I teach a 4 hour basic Bowenwork class to help you be able to help your loved ones.
Since I'm such a huge animal lover and had been a veterinarian technician for 10 years, I also spent the time to learn Bowenwork for animals and I see small animals at my office and large animals at their homes. I have developed a class to teach animal owners how to use Bowen to help their animals, this will be taught in a clinitian type setting beginning this Fall!
