My name is Diana Pope. I'm a mom and have been a Licensed Massage Therapist for 10 years.

My first experience with massage was when I was 10 years old and my mother had a back injury from a car accident. Not being able to afford medical services i took a leap of faith and helped her, and with the love of reading, i took what I learned from books and educational programs about the human body and I nursed her back to optimal health.

My first experience with massage was when I was 10 years old and my mother had a back injury from a car accident. Not being able to afford medical services i took a leap of faith and helped her, and with the love of reading, i took what I learned from books and educational programs about the human body and I nursed her back to optimal health. 

Have being licensed in the state of New York, Connecticut, Kentucky, and now Michigan. I have gained many experiences in this field from working in many spas, clinics, offices with athletes and everyday people.

I found a soundness in treating the body as a whole. The body should be seen as 3-D. Many factors can change the overall wellbeing when the right treatments including massage are applied. Nurturing should happen on all levels of the body to bring it to balance. I find most of my work to be grounded in eastern medicine, alternative and holistic approach.

My goal is to educate myself and the client. I love doing self-treatments to gain more knowledge and understanding as well as developing new techniques.

Diana did a great job with my lower back that was strained and was hurting for several days. I can now bend down farther with little pain. She is knowledgeable and asked comprehensive questions to look for root causes of the pain in daily life. She was friendly and met me at the door. Only drawback I can think of is that she does practice out of her smaller rented home. Her Professionalism is appreciated and my back thanks her!

There was a scheduling snafu. She handled it extremely professionally. The session was awesome. Never had massage before so although I have nothing to compare it to, it was wonderful. I do plan on scheduling again.

The massage was AMAZING. Diana was highly skilled and knew her stuff about massages! The location being a house in Hamtramck is a little intimidating getting there. I think Diana needs to either put a friendly sign in the front of the house or on the yard, as I was not sure if I was in the right place. She did not inform e it would be in a house as well. Transparency is key. Also being that there is double parking on the street, I would feel more comfortable if she would allow some space in the driveway for clients.

I been going to Diana for years back when she was in NYC I became inconsistent because I moved to Michigan and lo and behold we connect again. Despite her being new to Detroit I am familiar with her positive touch and she is what Detroit needs. She is a Diamond in the Rough. I cant wait to see how her business becomes more and more of success here. Dont hesitate try her out you will not be disappointed. Will forever be a loyal customer!!!!

Diana is a REAL masseuse, with REAL skill. There are so many here on MB that are just posing or have mediocre expertise, when it comes to knowing where pressure points are, how the body functions and understanding what works to relieve tension and improve well-being. Diana has the gift and I felt no less than amazing following the session. Attention to detail is superb and she does not short change when it come to time. When you pay for 60 minutes, you receive the full 60 minutes. Not 50-55. I will continue to book Diana for the foreseeable future.
