In 1984, I went to myomassology school after seeing a student at WRESA come into school in a straight jacket.  Two years later I was developing massage therapy as an enhancement with behaviorally involved students.  Still to this day Chris McEvoy uses these techniques and continues that work within school for nonviolence ways to enhance education.  Later in these studies we work with children without understandable speech and develop communications systems.  With the use of touch to enhance ways of listening to students and providing the relaxation that some of these students so desperately needed.  The use of massage therapy with children without Understandable speech, Ann Heler and Ann Perrault.  I also worked with the Hesperian Foundation (famous for the book, :Where there is no Doctors") to develop a book on "Where there is no therapist".  

I am trained in Shiatsu , neuro-muscular,  medical massage,  cranial sacral, lymphatic massage, structural analysis, watsu and liquid flow (underwater massage).  I have worked extensively with severely multiply impaired, car accident, frozen shoulder, neck and back pain. Years ago I read an article stating that over 60% of adults experience some kind of low back pain, hip, neck or some kind of pain.   We have tune into ourselves and give the gift of knowing what are bodies need both spiritually and physically. 

I specialize in working with clients who experience pain in their necks or backs. Often the culprit is a muscular imbalance brought on by an injury, poor posture, or too much time sitting.
