I am a registered massage therapist, currently residing in Denver, Colorado. I have completed two yoga teacher trainings (and intend to at some point complete a 500 level training). I received my massage therapy certification in Swedish, Joint Range of Motion, Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular Trigger Point, Myofascial work, and other modalities from MTIC (800+ hours 2012) and intend to complete further trainings.
I currently work at two locations. My goal with massage therapy is to hold space and meet clients where they are as we together facilitate change in the body for the purposes of healing. I believe the process is a collaborative one and works best when the client is also taking part in his or her own self-care.

There has been only one other massage therapist in my life who was able to help me the way Meca'Ayo did. I walked in with sciatic pain down my legs and overall back and neck pain. I walked out literally feeling like I was floating and the pains stayed away for days!!! Meca'Ayo is kind and professional. She listens well, is intuitive and highly skilled. Every time I receive a massage from Meca, it's like a smoothing over. My body just drinks up all that healing. I leave feeling renewed and relaxed. I went in for persistent pain in my lower back that made it very difficult to bend over fully. After one session with Meca'Ayo, I was back to full range of motion with no pain in that area. It was such a relief!
