After researching several schools, I attended
Center for Advanced Therapeutics because of their focus on medical-based
massage. After going through the basic course to get licensed as a
massage therapist, I continued on and took an additional 700+ hour class on
advanced neuromuscular techniques. I use a combination of deep tissue,
trigger-point therapy, neuromuscular and myofascial release to help my clients
feel better.
I believe every body can benefit from massage.
Most of my clients start to see me to help them get out of some type of
pain. I continue to see them to assist them in keeping their bodies
working well. I also help athletes and weekend warriors with
injury prevention. Improving and maintaining good posture is also
something that I work with my clients on.
I am very fortunate to rent an office in the Cashin Chiropractic
building. We're located in the Uptown neighborhood in Denver, between
17th & 18th Avenues and about a block east of Park Avenue West.
There's free two hour parking available on the street.
My knees were not agreeable to long distance running so I picked up
cycling. I've always enjoyed riding my bike. In August of 2015 I
completed my first Century Ride (100 miles). I also enjoy hiking,
snowshoeing, dancing, knitting, volunteering, and reading. Sonja is my
sweet lab mix. She is certified as an emotional support animal and my
goal is to get her certified as a therapy dog and get her canine good citizen
certification. Sometimes I even bring her to the office with me.
