Hi, my name is Jarda and this is my story...
Since I was a kid I was always exposed to what I consider one of the most important things in life. “ The Loving Touch”
Like any young boy, I was always involved in many activities that often resulted in some kind of injury or physical trauma. I soon learned that ANY pain can be eased and perhaps eliminated by the act of loving-kindness and loving touch.
In 2008 I was living in England when I took a Swedish massage and Sports massage therapy class followed by deep tissue bodywork.
These massage techniques allowed me to help people but left me with a void of knowing more about elemental principals of the body. In 2009 I found Nuad Boran (oftentimes mistranslated as "Thai Massage" - the most complex form of therapy I thought there was), so I dove straight into it. I devoured every piece of information about Traditional Thai Massage and Traditional Thai Medicine and quickly became intrigued by its complexity and effectiveness.
In 2013 I moved to the US to further my education, attending massage schools searching for more information and hands-on practice.
In 2015 I discovered Thai Yoga Center SomaVeda® College of Natural Medicine in Brooksville, FL. Directed under the supervision of Dr. Anthony B. James, one of the pioneers of Yoga therapy in the USA, who has been teaching classes in the US since 1984. Over a period of 4 years, I learned how to implement everything I knew plus much much more. Ayurveda and Indigenous approaches to Medicine became integrated into my practice and healing methods.
As an Ayurvedic Lifestyle Consultant, I learned how to approach each client individually and how to treat specific conditions using thousand years old methodologies and principles.
In 2016 I joined the N.A.I.C. (Native American Indigenous Church) and after my first sweat lodge ceremony I became a full blessed member and Authorized Lay Minister - allowing me to participate in and to hold indigenous, earth-based healing medicine, and ceremonies - Including SomaVeda Integrated Traditional Therapies®: Yoga Therapy, Ayurveda, application of oils and herbs, Meditation and Mindfulness as well as the use of all natural substances derived from Mother Earth known as “5 elements” - Air, Fire, Water, Earth and Space.
In 2018 I went to Thailand for an Externship Program where I took classes in Traditional Thai Massage Medical School and received many treatments personally. I traveled the country from The Northernmost of Thailand all the way to the Southern islands. I visited sacred sites, learned about the culture, Art, Traditional healing, and medicine that varies from region to region, and last but not least, Buddhism.
My journey over the last 10 years was all about understanding and learning how to practically express the healing power of love and touch with others. In searching for the purpose of life, I found my “Dharma” and I am happy to share with anybody who crosses my path.
In 2019 I started to offer my services to people in need commercially.
