As a Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT), Rebecca teaches Therapeutic Yoga+Meditation, specializing in Meditation, Yoga for Cancer, Gentle Yoga, and yoga/meditation through a Jewish lens. Through Mother-to-Mother, Rebecca offers yoga for women throughout their lifecycles. Her classes are available virtually and in studios around Atlanta. In private practice, Rebecca works with individuals through yoga, yoga therapy, meditation, and bodywork.
Like many people, I first came to yoga as a physical practice, and quickly learned the many ways that yoga can change lives. Yoga is much more than physical postures. It’s great for both strengthening and stretching the body, but it is the strengthening and stretching of mind, body and breath that gives yoga healing properties. I honor my teachers, and the lineage of Swami Kripalu and Lakulisha.
Before beginning my work in yoga therapy, I was a dance and theater producer in New York City and Atlanta.
