My journey to Massage Therapy first began after completion of my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Troy State Univeristy of Montgomery in 2003. My immediate plan was to then pursue my Master's degree to go on to become a licensed counselor; however, dealing with some of my own personal health issues led me down a different path. I had been referred to a licensed massage therapist in order to seek out some relief, and it was during this time that I began to feel that maybe I could help others in a more overall holistic way-physically, emotionally, and mentally-instead of just sitting and listening to their problems day in and day out. So in 2004, I enrolled at The Montgomery School of Massage Therapy where I completed 760 hours of training in order to become a fully licensed massage therapist. I began full time massage therapy work in March of 2005 and ran my own successful business from then until December of 2015. This last year I took some much needed and rewarding time off to spend with my family before my children started school full time; however, I am excited to now have the opportunity to return to my calling in the massage field and become a part of Bodyworks by Ravonda's team. My specialities include therapeutic massage, orthopedic massage, pregnancy massage, and deep tissue massage in order to receive relief from not only the common neck and back pain, but also the chronic pain often associated with disorders such as arthritis and fibromyalgia. I look forward to developing a professional session in order to reach your desired therapeutic results.

Will definitely be back soon.

I have orthopedic issues and am in constant pain. This also make me very careful about the care I get. I've seen RaVonda in the past and she is great, but very busy. So I decided to give Terah a try. She is wonderful! All I have to say is I left the office without pain! Something meds and physical therapy haven't achieved. THANK YOU Terah, see you next week.
