Since 2005 Melissa August has been helping men and women reduce stress and relieve pain through massage therapy. Melissa's specialty is providing and teaching family massage to new parents. When walking into her studio you will feel like you are in a healing sanctuary. When she starts to work on your body, you will feel she really listened to your needs for the day and will be impressed by how intuitive she is when she centers in on the muscle or scar tissue that needs work. She is really good at sensing the perfect amount of pressure for the blood to return to each muscle fiber and melt back into a normal perfect physical state. But feedback is encouraged. Melissa is happy to work with walk-ins, but fills quickly. She recommends avoiding the "putting out the fire massage" due to acute injuries and/or stress, and setting up regular scheduled appointments in advance to maintain consistent health and wellness.
