I was a volunteer for the Wellness Center at Omega Institute for four seasons. (60 providers) In 2019, I volunteered at the Shankara Ayurvedic Spa (12 providers) at Art of Living Retreat Center in Boone, NC. In March of 2020 I completed the Massage Therapy program at nearby CCC&TI; and passed the MBLEx exam in June 2020. The program focused on Swedish, Orthopedic and Deep Tissue Massage. While living in Montpelier I was hired as a massage therapist one day a week for 6 months through a grant funded program at the community called Another Way in Montpelier VT. When I lived in Danville, Vermont and operate Perfect Touch Airbnb Yoga & Massage in 2019-2021. I worked in Tiaga Spa at Jay Peak Resort from October 2021- May 2022. I provided Deep Tissue, Swedish Massage, Couples Massage, Sports Massage, Hot Stone, Maple Foot Scrub and Scalp Massage.
In 2021, I began to focus more on giving and receiving MFR Myfascial Release as taught by John Barnes. I have taken MFR 1, Unwinding, Rebounding, 1 week of Skills Enhancement which included 3 days assisting John Barnes with clients. I have received dozens MFR treatments from various MFR practitioners and attended one week receiving intensive TFT treatents in the Malvern, Penn & Sedona, AZ treatment centers.
