When I started massage therapy school 20 years ago I had no idea that it would become my life's work!  I went mainly because I wanted to meet people and learn something cool!  It didn't take long for me to understand the benefits of massage therapy and how it could literally change someone's life.  I spent the early years working for a few Chiropractors, in private practice, and eventually in a spa.  It was in the spa that I discovered that massage was much more than a career, it was a calling.  The role I get to play in the wellness of my clients is truly humbling.  I have "traveled" through life with them; college, engagements, weddings, and babies!  


I would describe my natural pressure as Med-firm, however, Deep Tissue is what is most booked.  I use Myofascial Release techniques, Muscle Stripping, and Active Resistance Stretching to aide my clients in alleviating pain and regaining freedom in their bodies.

Hiatus Spa + Retreat - Lead Therapist

During my 4 1/2 year tenor at Hiatus, I was Lead Massage Therapist for 2 1/2 years. While I maintained a full schedule as a therapist, I was also in charge of hiring and training new members of the massage team.

Training and Education

In addition to my basic training in massage, I have received training and certification in: Deep Tissue, Prenatal, Hot Stone, Thai massage, Manual Lymphatic massage, and Medical massage.

Medical Massage

I have 8 years experience working in the Chiropractic setting. Using Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, and Stretching techniques, I was able to increase range of motion, improve flexibility, and relieve pain and tension.
