Kim began her formal study of massage therapy in 2003 at Rising Spirit Institute of Natural Health in Marietta, Georgia. The program at Rising Spirit was an extensive 750 hour course, covering many traditional teachings with a focus on neuromuscular therapy.
In 2004, after graduating from Rising Spirit, Kim opened her private office in Dallas, Georgia, Conscious Touch Massage and Bodywork for Women. November 2014 marked 10 years in business at the same location.

In 2005, Kim discovered Sacred Lomi. This was developed from a form of Hawaiian Temple Bodywork, by Master teachers and practitioners Tom Cochran and Donna Jason.
She is licensed by the State of Georgia to Practice Massage Therapy.
She is Nationally Certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork.
She is a member of Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals.
She takes 12 to 48 hours of continuing education each year. Far exceeding the minimum required by the state.
In 2012 Kim completed 90 hours of continuing education. Including 48 hours of Lomi Lomi on the Big Island, Hawaii and an additional 24 hours of Lomi Lomi teacher training in Asheville, North Carolina.
