Amanda earned a Master's of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at the AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine in Austin, Texas.  This program included training in traditional methods of Chinese Herbal Formulations, Dietary Therapy, Facial Rejuvenation, Cupping, Moxibustion Therapy, Gua Sha, Tai Chi, Qigong, Medical Qigong, Acupuncure and Tuina.  Her focus areas are fertility support, pain management, and post-trauma healing. In addition to specialized acupuncture trainings she has been certified in the Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy, completed Level 1 Craniosacral Therapy, and trainings in near infrared and red light therapy. Her clients have observed that combining acupuncture with the LED infrared device provides significant pain relief and healing not achieved with any other modality alone. She is currently training to become a nurse in the hopes of bridging the communication disconnect between Acupuncturists and allopathic medicine.
