Holding degrees in Engineering and Art, Kristin finds bodywork to be an ideal application of her science and art background. She delights in understanding muscular design, movement and function, and at the same time being engaged in identifying the condition of the muscles by ‘listening with her hands’ through palpation. She has empathy for muscles, imagining each of them as having a unique personality with a story to tell. She 'listens' intently to what they have to say and applies corrective techniques to restore their function and improve their sense of ‘aliveness'.

Kristin was trained and personally mentored by Victoria Ross, a pioneer in cross-fiber muscle therapy and Master Pfrimmer Instructor. She is certified by the California Massage Therapy Council (CMT #24250) and is an Authorized Teaching Assistant for the International Institute for Corrective Muscle Therapy, Inc.
