My thoughts of getting into the Massage career came about during my young 20's after receiving Physical Therapy and Massage from injuries. I thought what a great feel it must be to help others out of pain/aches. After graduating Massage school in 1989 I took off in a career I have now been enjoying for 25 years! I am always amazed with our complex body that carries us around. As the years and experience grow so do my "out of the box" thoughts and results. I am not "afraid" to work with any issues. This is not to say that I will and have referred clients to other health providers whenever necessary.Whether they do or don't or can can't come back. My work has drawn those  who have had herniated discs, muscle injuries, scar tissue that interferes with joint mobilization and other issues, acute and chronic pain, headaches and TMJ, low back/hip pain and pregnacy, easing the birthing process.I see most who suffer (needlessly) with chronic issues caused by repetitive activity such as the computer or standing or driving for long periods.

My goal is to give the most knowledgeable decision based on the condition of my clients needs. I have certifications in Neuro muscular therapy, myofascial release, pre/post natal and structural therapy.

I goal results, I enjoy empowering my clients independence by teaching them hands off body work with self help techniques. I consider myself an "engineer" of the body. Calling myself a body mechanic. I prefer my clients to be comitted rather than a sporatic "massage" because I put my "all" inot their therapy. I consult and share my experience with every client and create an assesment plan which wil work best for their health. Taking into consideration their budget. Many corporate employees come to me to get out of the chronic pain cycle that hasn't been helped by Chiropractic and or Physical Therapy. Athletes start running which has come to a sudden hault caused by pain.. which is where my client and I start.. at the beginning

My hobbies and play time is hiking, boulder climbing, whipping a firsbee,riding my bike,beach and boogieboarding . So with all the physical play , one can only imagine how much I must keep my self in shape to prevent injury and help my clients to be able to do whatever their hobby is...whether sports or knitting , it's all repetitive action and can weaken the muscular group being used. I LOVE my WORK! if that's what I choose to call it. 

I've worked on over 15,000 bodies to date. A lot who have been treated by me for 9 or more years. I travel when requested to provide massage therapy / bodywork  as far north as carlsbad and south as South Bay and as far east as Carmel Mtn down to East Lake.
