I enjoy working with people. I love helping people feel better. In today's fast-paced stressful society we have lost touch with our basic needs of caring for oneself. We don't have time to decompress after a long arduous day. Our lives are so busy with doing for others that we often don't get to the doctor when needed or eat the foods that are good for us. Over time our bodies start to break down and wear out becoming filled with unreleased toxins and eventually the body will succumb to the constant bombardment of pressure and stress, and present itself in different ways; migraines, neck pain and decreased range-of-motion, shoulder pain, wrist pain, back pain, hip pain, high blood pressure, poor eyesight, irritability, lack of focus, sleep disorders, etc.
I decided to pursue a career in Massage Therapy because I believe in holistic medicine. I hate taking prescription medicine although there is a time and place for it. I believe in Chiropractic care. I have witnessed it work many times over with my own ailments and injuries. Massage therapy is a complementary service that helps the body heal itself. Using modalities such as deep tissue, myofascial release and structural integration, ailments such as postural alignment, range of motion limitations, TMJ disorders among others can be addressed and improved upon or even eliminated.
Let me help you improve your life on a daily basis through massage therapy and bodywork.
